LORAC PRO Palette Review

Out of all the reviews of products I got in the US, most of you wanted to see a review of the famous LORAC PRO palette first, so I guess it's time for me to introduce you to this amazingness that I can't imagine not having in my life anymore.

The LORAC PRO Palette contains sixteen fabulous eyeshadows, but before I start talking about those beauties, I first want to mention a few things about the packaging. First of all, it is very thin and light, which makes it perfect for travelling. It has a strong magnetic closure and I honestly don't have a feeling that the eyeshadows would shatter if I drop the palette on the floor. Another good thing that some of you might like is that it also has a pretty large mirror, which can definitely come in handy when you're on the go or without any decent close-up mirrors in a hotel room, for example. It has happened before... :D

As you have probably already noticed, this will be a very positive review, but that doesn't mean that everything about this palette is perfect. There are actually a few things that bother me. First of them is the material the palette is made of. It feels like cardboard and I'm really afraid that it will fall apart eventually if I'm not particularly gentle with it. Another thing that bothers me when it comes to the material is that it looks like it was made to attract dirt. If you have the original Naked Palette you'll know how dirty its velvety packaging can get, but this one is even worse! And also, there is no way you can keep it clean even on the inside, because the pans are so tiny that the eyeshadow powder goes everywhere when you start putting your brushes near the eyeshadows. It's just a big mess. Unless you're really careful and only gently place your brush on the shades. But nobody's got time for that. Right?

Now on to the good stuff again. As I have said, this palette contains sixteen eyeshadows. Half of them are shimmery and the other half are matte. There are quite a few neutrals in this palette, but there are also some darker shades, which can be used for creating more smokey, nightime looks. Apparently, the eyeshadows can be applied dry or wet, but I can't really comment on the wet application, as I haven't tried it yet. I'm pretty sure it works just as amazing as the dry application, though. Ok, moving on. The eyeshadows are EXTREMELY pigmented. I've found quite a few amazingly pigmented eyeshadows so far, but none of them were matte. In this palette, however, ALL the eyeshadows are extremely pigmented. Not just the shimmery ones. The matte ones as well. Omg, I can't tell you how much I love them! Just as the pigmentation, everything else about them is pretty much perfect as well. They are smooth, silky, blendable and last for ages on your eyelids. They just don't slide down or fade. All in all, I adore them. I would marry them if I could. I'm serious. This palette is definitely the best make-up purchase I've ever made. Now, run to the store and get one for yourself if you haven't yet!

P.S. Along with this palette, I also got a primer, but I haven't tested it out properly yet, so the review will be coming up a bit later.
