Seche Restore Nail Polish Thinner Review
Sandra
Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat was the product everyone blogged about back in the days, and I still remember the moment I first laid my hands on it, back in 2012. It was love at first try and we have been inseparable ever since. But while I do love the fact that it dries the nail polish underneath in seconds and makes my mani super shiny, it has one annoying flaw. The formula thickens up after a while and becomes not so great to work with.
Here's where Seche Restore comes into play. A few drops of this nail polish thinner turn the top coat (or any other nail polish, for that matter) back to its normal consistency and it's awesome. I just wish it didn't take me such a long time to buy it. I would help me save so many bottles of nail polish and so much money!

NOTD: Kiko 389
Sandra
Well, hello there another turquoise nail polish! I don't think I'll ever have too many of them, teehee. My sister actually brought me this one from Italy last week and I couldn't be more surprised when she gave it to me. She actually told me that she hadn't had time to go shopping, as she was on a school trip, but then pulled out a bag full of amazing goodies for me! Yay! I'll show you everything she got me in my haul video later this week. Now back to the nail polish. As you can see, it's from Kiko, an Italian make-up brand which I absolutely adore! They have amazing affordable products and their nail polish shade range is out of this world. The nail polish you can see in the photo is in the shade 389. Isn't it gorgeous?! It took me two coats to get it opaque and it didn't streak. I can't really comment on the durability, though, because I was wearing it with my Seche Vite top coat, but if I remember correctly, my other Kiko nail polish lasted for quite a while on my nails the last time I wore it without a top coat...
P.S. Would you maybe a like to see a swatch comparison of all the turquoise/mint nail polishes I own?

NOTD: Mint Confettis
Sandra
I have a very short post for you today, because I don't have much to say to be honest, haha. This is the mani I wore a few weeks ago. It includes my two favourite polishes right now - Essie's Mint Candy Apple and L'Oreal's Confettis top coat. I really like the look of this combination. I'll definitely wear it again! How do you like it?

NOTD: Confettis Top Coat
Sandra
L'Oreal Confettis Top Coat had been on my wishlist for ages, and just when I finally reconcilled myself to the nail polish not being avaliable in my country, I spotted it at a tiny drugstore next to my uni! I almost screamed with happiness when I saw it! It's true. You can ask my friend who was with me. I'm sure this top coat will be my faithful companion for the next few months. It looks so cute with pastels! This time, I put it on top of Barry M's Prickly Pear. You can see a detailed review of the 'Prickly Pear' nail polish here.
P.S. Who else managed to pick up this gorgeous top coat?

Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat Review
Sandra
After being very disappointed with my Catrice top coat that I've had for months, I finally decided to give the famous Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat a go. So, is it really as amazing as everyone says? Heck yeah!
As its name already suggests, it dries super quick, so it works great even if you're in a hurry. My old top coat was a complete opposite when it came to this. It seemed dry, but when I woke up in the morning, all of my nails were smudged. I still don't know why I've had it for such a long time and didn't just throw it away. Anyway, back to the Seche Vite top coat. Not only does it dry quickly, but it also gives a beautiful shine to your nails and prolongues your manicure - in my case for about two days. I'm currently completely obsessed it and will probably be repurchasing it.
The only negative thing about this top coat is its smell. It's very strong and reminds me of super glue, so I predict that there are probably some not-so-innocent ingredients in there. Also, some people say that the polish gets thick after a while. I've been using it for about a month and I haven't experienced any thickness yet, but I'll definitely update you on that if it happens.

Plastic Wrap Nails
Sandra
Yes, you've read the title of this post correctly, because all need for this manicure is some plastic wrap. And a few nail polishes, of course. :)
These are the nail polishes that I've used to achieve this look: OPI's base coat, Essence's Mr. Big, Avon's Luxe Lavender, Essence's Replay, Avon's Lemon Sugar, and Catrice's top coat.
After I painted my nails with the base coat, I applied one layer of this gorgeous magenta pink color.
After the nail polish became dry, I put some pastel purple nail polish on the plastic wrap, and then lightly dabbed it on my nails. I continued doing the same thing with the rest of the colors to get the final look.
As you can see, this can get a bit messy...
...but when you clean the cuticles with a nail polish remover and put on some top coat, you get a really pretty nail design! How do you like it? Will you be trying it out?

Nail of the Day
Sandra
I was browsing through Pinterest the other day and I saw a cute nail design that I decided to try out myself. The only thing you need to do to achieve this look is paint your nails white and then draw on some blue and glittery stripes. Easy peasy and cute! :)
Products used: Essence's Multi Dimension XXXL Shine Nail Polish in Perfectly True, OPI's Natural Nail Base Coat, China Glaze's Bahamian Escape Nail Polish, China Glaze's Tinsel Town Nail Polish & Catrice's Quick Dry and High Shine Top Coat.

Summer Nails
Sandra
I had a little bit more time on my hands the other day (back when I still had exams), so I decided to do some quick and easy nail art. I wanted to include summery yellow color and paint each of my nails differently. This is what I came up with. I think it looks really cute, what about you?

To achieve this look, I used four different nail polishes - Essence's My Yellow Fellow, Essence's Perfectly True, Catrice's Quick Dry & High Shine Top Coat, and Essence's Blair glitter topper.
