The Best Lip Products for Fall 2016

The Best Lip Products for Fall 2016

For some reason, I'm crazy excided for fall this year. Usually I would be sitting in the corner and mourning the best season of them all - summer, duh - but not this time around! I'm actually looking forward to foggy crisp mornings, hot sugary drinks, cozy nights in, and amazing fall shades. Not only the ones you can spot in nature!

I've always had a soft spot for bold burgundy and violet lip numbers, and fall is just the perfect season to rock them, don't you agree? But that's not to say the nudes get to take a time out. They're still very much in front of my makeup drawer, especially if they're matte!

To find out which exactly I'll be carrying in my bag this upcoming season, watch the video below! There's some nude and some bold options, and I made sure to include hand and lip swatches as well this time so that you can see them in all their glory. And remember, don't skidaddle before telling me what you'll be wearing on your lips this fall!

Wet n Wild 'Walking on Eggshells' Eyeshadow Trio Review

Wet n Wild 'Walking on Eggshells' Eyeshadow Trio Review
My love affair with Wet n Wild eyeshadows started back in August, when I managed to get my hands on the Comfort Zone Palette (review here) while visiting California. I was astonished at the pigmentation and the overall quaility right away, so when Andrea sent me a few Wet n Wild eyeshadow trios as a part of my secret santa gift, I was over the moon. My heart was soon stolen by 'Walking on Eggshells', the perfect combination of everyday neutrals. It became my best travel buddy, and landed itself a place amongst my most used and adored makeup items.

As with any other Wet n Wild eyeshadows, the pigmentation is superb, the shades are buttery, easy to blend and long lasting. They really are a dream to work with, and you don't even have to break the bank to get them! This gem will only cost you 4,53€ if you get it from Destination Pretty, my online store. Yes, you read that correctly! They are now available in Slovenia/Europe as well, along with other amazing products from various different American brands! You can check out all the new items we now carry here. Oh, and in case you want to see how this eyeshadow trio looks like on my eyes, you can check out this post. Who's in love already?

Wet'n'Wild Comfort Zone Palette Review

I am the worst beauty blogger. Ever. Recently, Andrea sent me some Wet'n'Wild eyeshadows as a part of my Secret Santa gift, and I just realized that I still haven't even reviewed their Comfort Zone Palette that I got back in August when I was in California. I have no idea how it slipped out of my mind! I even took photos of it as soon as I came home and have been using it ever since, so I don't know what happened.

Before I picked up the palette, I've heard nothing but good things about it, so my expectations were high, but I honestly didn't expect it to be THAT good. The pigmentation is just crazy! I mean, look at those swatches! It is quite hard to believe that this palette costs only $5. The eyeshadows feel very buttery as well, which is another plus, and they also blend well and last long on my eyelids. Having said that, they do keep fading throughout the day, but for the price you pay for them, they are still very good and far better than any other drugstore eyeshadows I've tried.

What I also like about this palette is the shade selection. It contains the perfect mix of neutrals, and there are also a few extra interesting shades thrown in. The duochrome one is especially interesting, I think. The only one I stay away from is the light green shade, but that's just because I feel like it doesn't suit my eye colour or my complexion. As you can see, all the shades are shimmery, which I personally really like, but if you're not a fan of them, you won't be a fan of the Comfort Zone palette.

Now, I want to mention one more thing and tell you what I don't like about this palette. The packaging. It looks very cheap, which I could disregard since the palette is literally cheap, but I have to mention it, because it is the reason why the eyeshadows shatter into a million pieces in case you're clumsy like me and accidentally drop things. It has happened to me twice already with this palette and it never ended well. Luckily, I know how to fix shattered eyeshadows (if you want to know how to do it check out this video), but it's still very annoying.
