Al Ain is the third city we visited during our trip to the UAE. This city is also known as the garden city due to its greenery, and is very different from Dubai and Abu Dhabi. It doesn't have skyscrapers, is more traditional, and has mountains and many oases. We visited one of them right before going to the local mall for half an hour and then for lunch. 

After lunch, we went to the Al Ain Zoo, which is famous for breeding endangeresd species like the Arabian onyx and white tiger - I LOVE white tigers by the way. It was too hot for us to walk around the zoo, so we decided to pay a little extra and rented a golf cart, which came along with the driver. The zoo itself was really nice, but what made it even more special was the opportunity to feed the giraffes. I love interacting with (furry-ish) animals, so I of course had to do it. It was really fun!

The second part of our day consisted of visiting Al Ain's hot springs, the top of the highest UAE's mountain that borders on Oman, and the camel farm. When we were at the hot springs, some people from our group went swimming, while I had to wait outside and be bored for an hour. I wasn't informed that we would go there so I didn't bring my swimsuits with me, that's why. But honestly, I'm glad I didn't. People who did said that the water was way too hot and the pool very tiny, so they were not enjoying the experience at all. We have many thermal springs and great wellness centres in my country, so I guess we're used to bigger and more ''luxurious'' spas. 

As mentioned before, our last stop was the camel farm. We went there when it was already dark  -in the UAE the sun sets very soon, around 6 pm - but honestly, I would prefer not seeing it at all. Not because it was dark, but because I felt really sorry for all the camels there. They were crammed into tiny spaces and some had their legs tied so that they wouldn't escape. One of them who had her legs tied came to me, with her sad eyes, and let me pet her. I really wish I could take her home with me or at least set her free...
