Tuna Salad with Zucchini & Walnuts Recipe

Tuna Salad with Zucchini & Walnuts Recipe

I wasn't sure whether or not to share the recipe for this tuna salad with you, because it's the simplest thing ever, but I've been so obsessed with it recently it would be a crime not to. So, these are the ingredients I put in: romaine lettuce, plum tomatoes, corn, tuna, walnuts and sauted zucchini. I season everything with sunflower oil, balsamic vinegar and salt, but sometimes, if I'm feeling naughty, I also add in a spoon of mayo and sprinkle a little bit of cheese on top. That's it! I told you it's easy... But so, so good! Let me know if you try it.

Stuffed Bell Peppers Recipe

Stuffed Bell Peppers Recipe

Stuffed bell peppers are a thing back in my home country, but we usually prepare and eat them in a tomato sauce, served with mashed potatoes. Now this here, is my London version. I don't know which one I prefer, because they're both yummy in their own way, but the Slovenian version takes about a bajillion years to prepare, so I'm sticking with this one for now.

If you're preparing a meal for two people - or making a double portion to put one in the freezer like I always do - you'll need 2 bell peppers, an onion, 250 g of minced pork/beef, a handful of cous cous, tomato puree, a handful of grated cheese and the general - oil, salt, pepper.

First you'll want to remove bell pepper seeds and cut bell peppers in half. Then sprinkle a little bit of oil on top and put them in the oven on 200°C for 20 minutes. In the mean time, prepare cous cous according to the instructions on the packaging, and in a separate pan, saute diced onion and mix in the meat. Once the meat is cooked, you can add a few squeezes of tomato puree, cooked cous cous, and mix the whole thing together. The last step is to take the bell peppers from the oven to stuff them with the mixture, sprinkle a little cheese on top and put them back in the oven for additional ten minutes before you dig in. Bon appetit!

As always, if you end up making these, don't forget to post it on social media and tag me. I would love to see your creation and hear your thoughts! Also, if you'd prefer a video version of the recipe, check out this vlog of mine. The cooking bit starts at 6:41.

Glam Vampire Halloween Makeup Tutorial

Glam Vampire Halloween Makeup Tutorial

Last year I went to my first ever Halloween party. Having a background in makeup artistry, you would probably expect from me to go all out and transform myself into something crazy, but I had exactly twenty minutes to get ready, at the office, so I had to come up with something quick and easy. I went for the classic with a twist - a vampire look inspired by The Vampire Diaries. I ended up loving it, so today, I thought I would share it with you. If you're a busy lady yourself, you might find it useful on October 31 or the weekend before.

Get Ready With Me: Quick Morning Makeup Routine for School

I got a few requests to film a 'Get Ready Me' video, and since your wish is my command, I did it! As the title suggests, this is my quick morning make-up routine that I do before I go to Uni. I'm usually very tired, sleepy and in a hurry in the mornings, so the routine is very simple. I'll try to do some proper and more interesting make-up tutorials in the future, but I'm not sure when. It is very difficult for me to get the lighting right if it is not sunny outside. My dad ordered some studio lights for me back in January at some photography shop, but they are still not here and I highly doubt that they ever will be at this point. Do you maybe know where I could get them in Slovenia? Are there any other good photography shops out there?

Pasta Salad Recipe

I made this pasta salad a while ago, but I totally forgot the post the promised recipe. Sorry! Like all my recipes,  the salad is very easy to make, and is great for busy people who don't have time to cook, as you can just throw all the ingridients in the bowl and eat it straight away or take it with you to work!
To make the salad, I have used 200 g of pasta, a few tomatoes, some pickles, 2 spoons of sour cream, and two spoons of mayonnaise. You can of course add other things as well, but these ingredients were more than enough for me. We were eating this salad for at least three days! Well, I was. :D

Summer Nails

I had a little bit more time on my hands the other day (back when I still had exams), so I decided to do some quick and easy nail art. I wanted to include summery yellow color and paint each of my nails differently. This is what I came up with. I think it looks really cute, what about you?

To achieve this look, I used four different nail polishes - Essence's My Yellow Fellow, Essence's Perfectly True, Catrice's Quick Dry & High Shine Top Coat, and Essence's Blair glitter topper.
