BYS is a make-up brand I have never even heard of before receiving this product. Therefore, I had absolutely no idea what to expect. I'm not gonna lie, I didn't have very high expectations for this product, because it looks and is kind of cheap, but the product proved to me that you cannot judge the quality of a beauty product based on its price and packaging. Not that the packaging is bad. It is actually very well made. Despite being plastic, it feels sturdy and has a very strong closure, so flimsiness is definitely out of the question when it comes to this BYS 'Peachy' Baked Blush. 

BYS je znamka lličil o kateri nisem slišala še čisto nič pred prejetjem tega 'Peachy' Baked Blush rdečila, zato se mi niti sanjalo, kaj lahko pričakujem od izdelka. Po pravici povedano, nisem imela prav velikih pričakovanj, saj je izdelek zelo poceni pa tudi embalaža se mi ob prvem pogledu ni zdela ne vem kaj. Ampak ravno ta izdelek je eden izmet tistih, ki dokazuje, da kvalitete kozmetičnih izdelkov ni pametno soditi samo po ceni in embalaži. No, ko smo ravno pri embalaži, pa moram povedati, da se je kasneje tudi embalaža izkazala za precej kakovostno. Čeprav zgleda nekoliko poceni, je v bistvu trpežna in ima močen mehanizem zapiranja. Joj, kako čudno se to sliši, haha. S tem sem hotela povedati, da se zapira na trdo in tudi ostane zaprta za razliko od nekaterih drugih nizkocenovnih izdelkov, ki se odpirajo kar sami od sebe, sploh če jih nosiš po kakšnih torbicah.

One thing that surprised me most is the pigmentation of this blush. On the website I was sent this product from, I've read that the product isn't very pigmented, but my experience was totally different. Or maybe it was just the Real Techniques' Blush Brush doing its magic, I don't know. Anyway, I find the blush more than enough pigmented. I would say it is as pigmented as my e.l.f. blush, which is another blush that made a huge impression on me recently. I'm telling you this because both of these bushes are very affordable and a lot more pigmented that my high end blushes like MAC's Well Dressed. Interesting, huh? I would expect things to be the other way around. 

Stvar, ki me je pri tem rdečilu najbolj presenetila, je močna pigmentacija. Na spletni strani, od katere sem dobila izdelek v oceno, namreč piše, da je rdečilo za malenkost manj obarvano, kar se meni niti ne zdi. Ali pa moj Real Techniques čopič za rdečilo dela čudeže, ne vem. Kakorkoli, meni se rdečilo zdi več kot dovolj pigmentirano. Lahko bi ga primerjala z e.l.f. rdečilom, ki je še eno rdečilo, ki me je pozitivno presenetilo. Oba rdečila sta namreč nizkocenova, vendar veliko bolj pimentirana od mojih dražjih, kot je na primer MAC Well Dressed. Zanimivo, a ne? Jaz bi pričakovala ravno obraten rezultat. 

Ok, let's now go back to the BYS blush that I'm reviewing today. As I have said, it is very pigmented, but it is also very blendable. After I apply it with my blush brush, I take my stippling brush and just blend it into my skin for a softer look. You can see the blended version in the photo below. And please ignore my green eyeshadow. I was experimenting and it is safe to say that it is best for me to stay away from green eyeshadows in the future. I guess blue eyes and green eyeshadows don't go hand in hand. 

No, pa pojdimo nazaj k BYS 'Peachy' rdečilu, ki je glavna zvezda današnje objave. Kot sem že rekla, je rdečilo zelo pigmentirano, poleg tega pa se ga tudi zelo lepo zabriše, kar jaz naredim z mojim Real Techniques Stippling čopičem. Končni rezultat lahko vidite na sliki spodaj. Samo opozorilo! Prosim ignorirajte zeleno packarijo na mojih vekah. Malo sem eksperimentirala z zelenimi senčkami, ampak sem kasneje ugotovila, da je bolje, da se jim v prihodnosti izogibam. Modre oči in zelene senčke očitno ne grejo najbolje skupaj...

Jeez, I've gone off topic again! Sorry about that, my brain is really scattered today. Back to the blush again. Apart from being pigmented, it is also shimmery, which some of you might love and some of you might hate. I personally prefer shimmery blushes, because I like my face to look glowing. If you've watched any of my make-up tutorials, you'll know that I always apply a liqud highlighter on the top of my cheekbones, but when I'm using this blush, I skip the highlighter, because it gives me enough glow on its own. As per usual, I can't really objectively comment on the durability of this blush, because my skin is dry and face products always stay on my face all day long. Pa sem spet zašla s teme. Se opravičujem. Danes so moji možgani na vseh mogočih koncih naenkrat. Če se spet vrnem k rdečilu... Poleg tega, da je močno pigmentirano, je tudi malce bleščeče, kar je nekaterim zelo všeč, nekaterim pa malo manj. Meni osebno so bleščeča rdečila všeč, ker imam raje sijoč kot mat videz. Če ste kdaj gledale moje make-up tutorials, ste verjetno opazile, da si na ličnice vedno nanesem tekoč osvetljevalec, ko pa uporabjlam tole BYS rdečilo, pa uporaba osvetljevalca ni potrebna, saj mi rdečilo samo po sebi da dovolj sijaja. Kot ponavadi, ne morem ravno objektivno komentirati obstojnosti, saj zaradi moje suhe kože obrazni izdelki na meni zdržijo po cel dan. To pa je tudi vse, kar sem danes hotela povedati o tem rdečilu. I remember shamballa bracelets being very popular last summer. Every girl on youtube seemed to have one among their arm candy, but I didn't end up buying it myself. They all looked too bling-blingy to me and reminded me of my terrible childhood jewelry taste. I was such a magpie! If it sparkled, I had to have it.
