Kylie Jenner and her nude lips. She definitely brought back a trend that took the beauty world by storm. I myself have never been a fan of true nudes on me, because they simply don't suit me, but I've definitely grown to love slightly darker neutral shades as of recently. I'm not sure if these can be even classified as nudes, but they're my version of nude, so this is what I'm going to call them. 

Essence 'Natural Beauty' Longlasting Lipstick: This one is my old favourite. I've repurchased it two times already and I feel like I'll be repurchasing it until I die. It's the perfect on-the-go shade with a slight pink undertone that seems to go great together with every single makeup look I wear. It has a permanent place in my handbag, not only because of its 'my lips but better' shade, but also because it's extremely comfortable to wear due to its creaminess. 

Milani 'Nude' Color Statement Lip Liner: Telling you that I'm obsessed with this product right now is probably an understatement. I've been wearing it ALL THE TIME during the past month. It's just perfect and I'm so glad I have it in my possesion. I almost gave up on the search for the perfect nude lip liner, as I could never find the shade I was looking for. I hate how pretty much all of them are either full on pink or brown, but this one is right there in the middle. Love! So, we've established that the shade is awsome. How about the formula, you ask? It's flippin' amazing as well. It feels creamy but looks matte, so you get the best of both worlds - comfort and staying power. 

NYX 'Tack' Color Lip Balm: I wasn't sure about this one when I first got it (I won it in a giveaway), because it looked burgundy in the tube, but once I applied it on my lips, I knew that it was a keeper straight away. A lip balm consistency makes sure your lips are nice and moisturized during the cold months, while the pigmentation leaves you with a nice dark pop of neutral colour. You can apply one coat if you want it to look suble or layer it up for a stronger effect. I personally also love wearing it over the Milani lip liner. Match made in heaven!

NYX Butter Glosses have been on my wishlist for years, which is kind of hilarious because I used to hate lip glosses from the bottom of my heart. But when even non-lip gloss lovers started praising them to the skies, I knew I had to try them one day. I had the perfect opportunity to do so when I was vising the States last year, yet I forgot to pick them up! I was so overwhelmed by all the cool products which suddenly became available to me that quite a few gems I inteded to buy escaped my memory. The regret has been hunting me for a year. People, don't repeat my mistake and make mental lists only when you're visiting a store you've been dying to visit for years. Trust me, everthing starts spinning around from excitement and your brain starts doing funny things. The moral of the story is: print out your damn wishlists and take them with you. Thank god, the story has ended happily for me, because I came up with this wonderful idea and ordered some butter glosses for my online store a few months back. Genious! And yes, sometimes I order stuff for my online store just because I want to get my hands on certain products myself, muahaha. Ok, let's now start with the review :D

So, do they deserve the hype? Oh yes, they do. I'm completely smitten! I currently own three shades (Maple Blondie, Strawberry Parfait, Vanilla Cream Pie), but it's safe to say my collection is not yet complete. Most people describe butter glosses as hybrids between lip gloss and lip balm, which I would have to agree with. They actually remind me of the Clarins Lip Perfectors a lot. I see a lot of similarities between them when it comes to the actual consistency  of the product and the finish they give to your lips. The finish is what I love most about these butter glosses. They don't contain any glitter and give your lips the most beautiful juicy, milky shine, while still providing some pigmentation. The pigmentation varies from shade to shade, but overall, I would classify it as medium. The glosses apply evenly with the doe foot applicator and can be built up, so you can make the colour more visible and wear it on its own, as well as only apply one thin layer for a natural look or wear it over a lipstick. The product feels very comfortable on the lips, creamy rather than tacky or watery, and smells yummy! The only thing that's avarage about this product is wear time. It lasts about an hour or two on my lips, but after all, it's still just a lip gloss and lip glosses just don't have the best staying power.

January has come to an end, so you know what this means. It's time for new favourites videos! Today I have the beauty one for you, and surprisingly, it's not extremely long. Since I spent most of January in my bed recovering from a nasty cold or at a doctor's office trying to get my knee sorted out, I haven't been wearing much make-up, so I only have five product to talk about this month. Today I'll be reviewing another product that I got from mojadrogerija.si - the NYX Girls 'Doll Pink' Round Lip Gloss. Just like the nail polish, it pleasantly surprised me.

Danes imam za vas oceno še enega izdelka, ki sem ga prejela od spletne trgovine mojadrogerija.si - NYX Girls Round Lip Gloss v odtenku 'Doll Pink'. Tako kot lak za nohte, ki sem ga ocenila tukaj, me je tudi lip gloss prijetno presenetil. 

To me, its strongest point is that it is not sticky. As you may already know, I hate sticky lip glosses, which is the reason why I usually don't wear them. The only non-sticky lip gloss I've found so far besides the one I'm reviewing today is this one.

Zame najmočnejša točka tega lip glossa je ta, da na ustnicah ni lepljiv, saj preprosto ne prenesem lepljivega občutka. To je tudi razlog zakaj se ponavadi izogibam kupovanju kakršnih koli lip glossov. NYX Girls lip gloss, ki ga ocenjujem danes, in tale lip gloss sta edina nelepljiva glosa za ustnice, ki sem jih našla do sedaj. Če poznate še kakšnega, mi prosim povejte. :D

Another thing that I love about this lip gloss is the colour. I mean, look at the swatch! Is this not the prettiest pink shade ever?! It is not completely opaque and as bright as it looks in the bottle, but I think it still looks amazing. It has a slight blueish purple undertone and doesn't have any shimmers, which makes me like it even more.

Druga stvar, ki me je pritegnila pa je prečudovita roza barva z modro vijoličastim podtonom. Lip gloss na ustnicah ne zgleda tako živo kot v embalaži, poleg tega pa tudi nima nobenih bleščic, kar ga meni osebno naredi še bolj všečnega. 

The lip gloss feels very smooth on my lips and it also applies smoothly, but I think you have to be quite careful with your application. There's a lot of excess lip gloss on the sponge applicator when you take it out of the tube, so you definitely need to wipe off all the excess lip gloss from the sponge applicator. Otherwise the application can get uneven and the lip gloss gathers around your lips, which can get messy. Another annoying thing I've noticed with this lip gloss or the packaging is that when you close the product, the lip gloss leaks where the tube closes, so you have to wipe that excess off every single time.

Formula lip glosa  ne izsušuje ustnic ter je zelo gladka in kremasta, kljub temu pa je pri nanašanju potrebna previdnost. Ko ga potegneš iz tubice se namreč na aplikatorju nabere precej odvečnega glosa, ki ga je treba pred nanašanjem obrisati. V nasprotnem primeru se glos nanaša neenakomerno in se nabira okrog ustnic. Še ena nadležna stvar povezana s samo embalažo pa je uhajanje lip glosa skozi embalažo. To se zgodi takoj ko zapreš tubico, zato je potrebno uhajajoči glos vedno obrisati preden izdelek pospraviš. 

The lip gloss is not the most long lasting - it stays on my lips for an hour - and has no taste, but it has kind of a strange artificial citrusy scent. It doesn't really bother me personally, and it disappears a few minutes after you put it on your lips anyways.

Lip gloss ni najbolj obstojen, saj na mojih ustnicah zdrži kakšno urico, ter nima okusa. Ima pa malce umeten vonj po citrusih, ki sicer izgine po kakšnih petih minutah nošenja.

So, this brings me to the end of my review. All in all, I really love the colour and the formula of this lip gloss, but I do wish the packaging would be a little bit better. I would love to know if any of you ladies out there are fans of NYX lip glosses and if there are any shades you would recommend to me, as I'm planning to get some more in the future. Za konec lahko povem oziroma povzamem, da sta mi barva in formula tega glosa zelo všeč, sama embalaža pa bi lahko bila malo boljša. Če je katera izmed vas ljubiteljica telih lip glossov in ima kakšna priporočila glede odtenkov se priporočam, ker bi z veseljem povečala svojo majno zbirko lip glossov. I'm really excited to share a review of my first ever NYX Girls nail polish with you today! I was kindly given this baby by Anja from mojadrogerija.si, and to be honest, I wasn't really sure what to expect at first. I don't remember reading any (rave) reviews of them, so my first thought was that their quality is probably not the best, but boy was I wrong! For an inexpensive drugstore nail polish, the quality is great!

Kot verjetno veste, običajno objav na mojem blogu ne pišem v slovenščini, vendar sem se odločila, da pri današnji naredim izjemo. Tale lakec sem namreč prejela v oceno od slovenske spletne trgovine mojadrogerija.si, zato se mi zdi fer, da je ocena napisana tudi v slovenskem jeziku. No, pa pojdimo k dejanski oceni. 'Fruity Punch' lakec, ki ga vidite na sliki, je moj prvi lak znamke NYX Girls, zato nisem vedela kaj točno pričakovati od njega. Kljub temu, da berem nešteto blogov, se ne spomnim, da bi kdaj naletela na ocene NYX Girls lakov za nohte. To mi je dalo občutek, da verjetno ni najboljši, ampak sem se k sreči zmotila. Lakec je namreč kljub razmeroma nizki ceni zelo dobre kvalitete. 

The consistency of NYX Girls' 'Fruity Punch' is just perfect - not too thick and not too liquidy. The brush is on the thinner side, which I thought it would bother me, because I like really wide brushes, but I find it perfectly alright, as it doesn't make the nail polish go on uneaven or streaky. The nail polish becomes opaque after two coats, but I think it looks even nicer with three. Also, it dries super fast, so it doesn't really require a top coat. I like to put it on anyway, though, just to make my nails look a little bit glossier and prolongue the manicure. Without a top coat, this nail polish lasted two to three days on my nails before it started chipping, which I think is pretty standard for a lower-priced nail polish. The only thing that might bother you is that it can stain your nails yellow. It personally doesn't bother me too much, though, because I wear nail polish all the time, so my nails are always covered with a lovely colour. :)

Gostota NXY Girls 'Fruity Punch' laka je ravno pravšnja, saj ni ne pregost ne preredek, sam čopič pa je precej ozek. Ker sem ljubiteljica zelo širokih čopičev, sem mislila, da me bo to motilo, vendar nazadnje z njim nisem imela nobenih težav. Lak se je namreč kljub tanjšemu čopiču nanašal zelo enakomerno. Za popolno prekrivnost sta potrebna dva nanosa, še lepše pa zgleda s tremi. Pri tem pa je potrebno omeniti še to, da se lak suši zelo hitro, kar zelo olajša nanašanje večih plasti. Zaradi hitrega sušenja, se mi uporaba nadlaka ne zdi potrebna, vendar ga sama kljub temu uporabljam, ker naredi moje nohte bolj sijoče in podaljša obstojnost laka. Brez nadlaka je lak na mojih nohtih brez krušenja zdržal dva do tri dni. Edina stvar, ki jo še moram izpostaviti je ta, da lak nohte obarva rumeno. Mene osebno to drugače ne moti, saj imam nohte vedno nalakirane, vem pa, da gre mnogim osebam to na živce. :D

All in all, I'm pretty impressed with this nail polish and I'm already thinking about which shades to buy next. They have quite a few lovely ones! By the way, you can get this nail polish here on mojadrogerija.si for 3,12€ if you live in Slovenija, and here if you live anywhere else in the world.
