Maybelline 'Barely Branded' Color Tattoo Metal 24hr Eyeshadow Review
Sandra
However, I did manage to finally get my hands on it while I was in the States. It was the first item on my to-buy list and I'm glad there were a few jars left waiting for me. As you can see, 'Barely Branded' is a gorgeous light shimmery champagne shade. Because it is so light, it works amazing as a base for other neutral shades, but of course you can also wear it on its own. I like how it looks all over my lid paired with On-and-on Bronze in the crease.
In terms of consistency and durability, it is the same as other shades. It is super pigmented, applies like a dream, lasts all day long, does not crease and is easy to blend. Overall, your perfect cream eyeshadow. I really doubt there are any better ones out there. At least not for that kind of price. Are you also obsessed with Maybelline's Color Tattoos? Which shade is your favourite?

Maybelline Color Sensational 'Vivid Rose' Lipstick Review
Sandra
Another week, another Maybelline Color Sensational lipstick. This time, I'll be talking about the shade 'Vivid Rose', which I ended up liking even more than the 'Shocking Coral' one.
Just as 'Shocking Coral', 'Vivid Rose' is also bright, creamy, super pigmented and long-lasting. I don't think there's any need for me to get into the details again, as I have reviewed the other shade only a week ago and the formulas are pretty much identical... In case you haven't seen that post yet, I would suggest you to check it out HERE. This line of lipsticks is seriously amazing!

Guest Post: Lipstick Picks for Spring
Sandra
Today I have a very special guest here on my blog - Jessica from The Mod Mermaid. She has an amazing blog, makes awesome youtube videos, and is overall a wonderful and funny girl that I really hope to meet in person one day. I need to get my badonkadonk to New York ASAP, haha. Oh, by the way, Jessica and I are looking for sponsors to launch our own reality TV show 'Two Beauty Bloggers Under One Roof: London Edition'. I'm sure it would be pretty hilarious!
P.S. It's Jessica's b-day today, so be sure to pop over her blog and wish her a happy birthday once you finish reading the post. And yes, this is a command. Ok, I'll stop blabbering now and finally let your read Jessica's post. :D
Before I dive into I'd just like to give a ha-uuuuge THANK YOU to Sandra for letting me guest post on her blog. When I saw on twitter that she needed people to guest on her blog, I was all over it! I love Sandra's blog and reading all her reviews (especially the Barry M polish ones that make me want them all!) so I'm really happy that I get to feature something on here today!
Today I have my top 5 lippies for Spring to share with you all! Spring means it's time for the vampy and deep berry lip products to go into hibernation and for all our peaches, corals, and seriously bright colors to come out and shine! Lipsticks are my favorite accessories, especially in the warmer months as I love, LOVE, my bright lip colors! But some days I really don't feel like any sort of statement with my lip color, so I opt for sheerer formulas so I can enjoy the color without the boldness. Does that make sense? LOL! Anyway, here are the lipsticks I'll be pulling out a lot now that the sun is shining!
- Revlon Lip Butter in Strawberry Shortcake | a semi-sheer, blue-based pink; perfect to give your lips a cotton-candy wash
- Revlon Lip Butter in Tutti Frutti | a semi-sheer (these lip butters are very buildable and blendable!) bright tangering-orange color; coral lovers will go cuckoo bananas for this shade! if you're not totally comfortable with a bold color on your lips this'll be great because it's toned down by the sheer formula (again, am I making any sense? LOL)
- Maybelline Color Sensational Vivid in Shocking Coral | again, coral lovers rejoice! This lipstick is a gorgeous coral color that leans more to the pink than the orange, but it looks so gorgeous on the lips and will be flattering on virtually any skin tone. It's a bright color, but one of those brights that's honestly so wearable! Personally, I'd recommend this entire range of colors, but I figured I'd keep this list to 5 ;)
- MAC Flamingo | Don't hit me, this was a limited edition shade that came out last January in the Iris Apfel collection. I wasn't going to include it but it's honestly a color I get so much wear out of in the spring/summer. It's a pink, yet with a hint of color that's semi-opaque. I don't know what to say but look at that color! It justscreams spring lippie! Give this one a google and I'm sure you'll be able to find something super similar!
- MAC Show Orchid | a gorgeous, fushcia-bright-berry-hot pink (phew, that was a mouthful) and opaque shade that looks like a stunning flower petal. It's bright but there's something so wearable about it (to me at least, I'm not too shy with brights). It's new to my collection but I already see myself getting a LOT of wear out of this one.
So those are my top lipsticks picks for spring! All of these colors are fun spring colors and these formulas are long lasting and moisturizing. I hope you found a shade that you like and will now add to your list of spring picks!
I'd love to know what your spring lipstick picks are! I'm always on the look out to expand my collection!

My New Maybelline Color Tattoos
Sandra
Maybelline's Color Tattoos have finally arrived to my country! I'm a big fan of the one I already own (review here), so I HAD TO go pick up a few more. The one that I was hoping to get the most - Barely Branded - is unfortunatelly not sold here, but I did manage to pick up 'Pink Gold' and 'Metallic Pomegranate'. The 'Pink Gold' turned out to be a little bit too pink for my liking, but I can still use it on my inner corners in combination with 'Metallic Pomegranate' or as a base. Otherwise, they are as amazing as I expected them to be. Just like my 'On And On Bronze' shade, these two are also very pigmented, long lasting, easy to blend and do not crease.
All in all, I'm totally smitten with these cream eyeshadows and I'm sure you are too. Am I right? :)

Maybelline Rocket Volum' Express Mascara Review
Sandra
Maybelline is the company I always come back to when I'm on a search for a new mascara. I've tried quite a few Maybelline mascaras so far and have been very impressed with most of them. Therefore, I had very high expectations for the Rocket Volum' Express Mascara. Especially when I saw the big rubber brush. But does this mascara really deserve the hype?
I am not so sure to be honest. While this is still a very decent mascara, it doesn't really give me any volume, which is a bit disappointing. Having said that, it does lift your lashes up, lengthen them and is very good when it comes to separating. It doesn't clump my lashes even when I apply several coats, which is something that I appreciate a lot because my naturally clumpy eyelashes can sometimes be a pain to work with.
Did you happen to try out this mascara? What are your thoughts?

Penguin Mani
Sandra
It seems like I haven't done any nail art for ages! I've been doing my nails in a hurry for the past few months, so nail art just never crossed my mind to be honest. When I was ordering my new adorable penguin phone case, though, I made a decision to spend some of my spare time on creating penguins on my ring fingers. They don't look perfect, because I don't have the appropriate nail art tools and a steady hand, but I think they still turned out pretty well.
Here are the nail polishes I've used: Catrice's 'Snow Motion', Maybelline's 'Colorama 80', Avon's 'Classic Fit' and China Glaze's 'Peachy Keen'. So, do you like today's mani? :)

Maybelline's 24HR Color Tattoo Eyeshadow Review
Sandra
I know I'm a little bit late jumping on the bandwagon with the Color Tattoo cream eyehadows, but I do have an excuse. Like most other fabulous make-up products, they too are not sold in my country. I've heard nothing but good things about these, so I was really excited when I saw them while shopping in Austria. And of course I had to pick one up because I have a shopping problem and a make-up obsession in order to do a review for you. :)
So, what do I think about it? It's fabulous! First of all, the shade that I've got - On and on Bronze - is very pigmented and long lasting. After having it on for about 12 hours, it still looked perfect. I hadn't experienced any creasing or fading. You can actually wear these Color Tattoo eyeshadows on their own as a creme eyeshadow or as a base for other eyeshadows. I've tried both ways and was very impressed. When I used it as a base it kept my powder shadows on place for the whole 12 hours, which is something that no primer I've tried so far has been able to do. I really wish they would make some light, matte, skin-tone like colors so I could wear them as a base under my non-shimmery and non-bronze eyeshadows.
I also have to mention that the shadow is very easy to blend, which you can see in the photo below, so you don't have to be afraid of wearing it on your own. For blending I used my Sigma blending brush that I normally use for blending my powder eyeshadows, and it worked totally fine.
As I have just said, this particular shade works amazing, but I'm not sure about the other ones, particularly matte ones. I've wanted to pick up the taupy shade as well, but when I swatched it, it was really dry, so I decided not to get it. Maybe it was just the tester that was bad, though. Does anyone maybe own it?

October Favorite Beauty Products
Sandra
SLEEK I-DIVINE STORM PALETTE
I'd been wanting this palette for quite some time after seeing all the amazing reviews and I'm really glad I decided to buy it. I can actually say that it is my all time favorite beauty product. The palette comes with 12 eye shadows, which are perfect for day and night looks. They are very pigmented, great for blending and have a strong staying power. I have to say that the two brown matte colors could be a little bit more pigmented, but I can overlook this flaw since all the other eye shadows are so amazing. The packaging is also really cool. It's compact, the size is great for travelling, and it also comes with an aplicator and a great big mirror. All in all, I would strogly recommend this palette to everyone. It's such a bargain!
Price: 8,5€ for 12x1.1g (I got it for 11€ in my country)
ONE BY ONE VOLUM' EXPRESS MASCARA BY MAYBELLINE

AVON NATURALS HONEY LIP BALM

ONE BY ONE VOLUM' EXPRESS MASCARA BY MAYBELLINE
I once borrowed this mascara from my sister and I instantly fell in love with it. I bought myself a new one about a month ago and it soon became my favorite mascara. It seperates your lashes, lengthens them, holds a curl and even adds some volume. However, a week ago, after a month of using it, the mascara started to become really dry, flaky and a little bit difficult to work with (I once came home looking like a panda). I really don't know what to think of it anymore. It was perfect until a week ago and now it's a complete mess. Is it possible that they just sold me an old one at the shop? Did anyone else experience similar problems?
Price: I paid about 10€ for 10,4 ml

AVON NATURALS HONEY LIP BALM
You probably all know about the Burt's Bees beeswax lip balm, right? I've heard only great things about it, but I can't get it in my country, so I jumped at the opportunity and bought an Avon one when I saw it in a recent catalogue. Like a Burt's Bees one, it also contains beeswax and I love it! It smells great, doesn't have a taste, contains vitamin E, is very moisturizing and leaves a great, waxy feeling on your lips. I always have problems with dry lips during colder months, but they haven't been dry since I started using this product. As I have said, I use it on my lips, but you can also use it for your cuticles and your dry skin on your elbows. I really have nothing bad to say about this product. The only thing I would maybe change is the packaging. You have to use your fingers to get out the product, so it can get a bit messy.
Price: 1,70€ for 15 ml
