Products I've Recently Used Up
Sandra
Every time I finish filming an empties video I breathe a huge sigh of relief, because that means I can finally throw away a huge bag of used up products that I've been piling up in the closet for months. Not only can it starts to feel like you're living in dumpster, but it can also lead to some very interesting, concerned conversations with non-YouTube-y people in your life in case they accidentally stumble upon the said pile. Been there, done that. When my mom discovered it in my room way back when, she staged an intervention and considered calling up the 'Hoarding: Buried Alive' team. True story. I think she got frightened I got my grandma's genes. Let's just say there's a reason why we say she has the so called 'hrčkov sindrom'. If you're not Slovenian, it translates into 'the hamster syndrome', but I don't think this idiom makes much sense in English... Basically, she's a bit of a hoarder. Not quite the TLC kind, but big enough. Ahh, I digressed! I just wanted to let you know that I did some quick but thorough reviews of the products I've recently used up, and you can hear all about them in the video below. I really don't know how I managed to turn one simple sentence into a whole, rather useless paragraph. Oh, well! Who's glad I'm back to blogging, haha?!

I'm back with another 'most repurchased' video today! The makeup one I did a few weeks ago went down really well, so I thought I would share my all time favourite skincare and haircare products as well.

Empties: Products I've Used Up Recently
Sandra
It's time to talk some trash. Literally. I haven't filmed an empties video in over a year, because I always forget to save empty packaging, but I've been trying really hard not to throw things away during the past few months, so today I'm finally able to review some of my recently used up products. By the way, this video could easily be titled 'My Holy Grails'. I'm mentioning tons of them!

Jo Hansford Expert Colour Care Illuminoil Review
Sandra

I've tried many different hair oils in the past few years. Some were good, others not so much (I'm looking at you Moroccanoil). But none of them were as great as the one I'll be talking about today. Jo Hansford's Expert Colour Care Illuminoil is top notch and totally deserves its name, liquid gold. The oil was created by Jo Hansford, one of the world's leading hair colourists popular especially amongst celebrities. Oh, how I wish I had enough money for her to do magic on my hair! But at least her products are accessible for us normal human beings.
Illuminoil comes in a sturdy glass bottle with a pump, and is suitable for all hair types. One thing that initially surprised me besides the clear colour (oils usually look yellow) was the scent. All hair oils I've tried so far had a more or less similar, rich nutty scent, this one, however, smells very citrusy. My first response was: this doesn't smell right, this ain't gonna work. But it does. It works amazing.

The product contains the blend of Pomegranate, Argan, Karanja and Jojoba oils. It feels very lightweight and gives my hair the most beautiful shine. The reality is, my hair is burnt - you can read about the incident here - and consequently looks and feels very lifeless. However, when I put this oil on, it turns into a soft, glossy, frizz free goodness.
I use the oil as a finishing product. I put it on almost every day, on my dry hair, but you can also use it on your wet hair before blowdrying, as an overnight scalp treatment or as an intensive 10-minute treatment after shampooing/before conditioning. 50 ml of this product, which you can buy here, will cost you 36,85€, but trust me, it is well worth the money. I'm definitely getting a new bottle when I run out of it.

My Hair Care Routine
Sandra
When I was in London now more than a month ago, I picked up some hair products that have since then completely changed the way I feel about my hair. Since I've started to color my hair, I've always had problems with dry ends and my hair feeling either straw like or oily. I've tried many hair masks in hopes of improving the condition of my hair, but I haven't noticed much difference. Thankfully, I can now say that I've finally found some amazing products that work really well for my hair, so I decided to film 'My Hair Care Routine' to show you my most loved hair products and give you quick reviews.
PRODUCTS MENTIONED:
Avon Advance Techniques 360 Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo - avaliable here
Aussie Take The Heat 3 Minute Miracle Deep Treatment - avaliable here
Aussie Miracle Hair Insurance Leave-in Conditioner - avaliable here
Tangle Teezer - avaliable here
Do you love any of those products I've mentioned as well? Which are your favorite hair products?

Batiste Dry Shampoo Review
Sandra
Dry shampoos have never been on the list of my frequently used products. Not because I wouldn't need them, but because I haven't found one that would actually work for me. We don't have a huge selection of dry shampoos in my country, so in case of emergency, I've been using either baby powder or the Syoss Anti-Grease Dry Shampoo. The baby powder works pretty good even though it does make my hair look a bit grey, but the Syoss dry shampoo doesn't even manage to do its job. Yeah, it makes my hair look cleaner, but only for a few hours. Fail.
The Batiste Dry Shampoo, on the other hand, is a totally different story. I am not surprised that everyone's raving about it. It makes my hair look as though I've just washed them, it smells pleasantly, it doesn't change the color of my hair and even gives it some volume. My hair normally needs to be washed every other day, but with the help of this dry shampoo, I can go without washing it for about four or five days. Crazy, right? For those of you wondering, I don't think you can get it in Slovenia, but you can order it here on asos.com. The delivery is free, so the 400ml bottle will cost you a little less than 7€.

Avon's Advance Techniques Moroccan Argan Oil Review
Sandra
I've tried quite a few hair oils in the last few years like Orofluido Elixir and the famous Maroccan Oil, but none of them made a huge difference to my hair. They did help with frizziness when I applied them on my dry hair, but that's about it. I wasn't planning on buying yet another hair oil because I though that none of them would work for me as well as they seemed to work on other people's hair, but when the UK beauty bloggers started to rave about the newest Avon's Maroccan Argain Oil, I decided to give hair oils another go and ordered the Avon one.
I had no expectations whatsoever, so I was pleasantly surprised when this hair oil actually made a noticable difference to my frizzy and dry hair. My hair never felt softer, and it now also looks shinier and healthier. I won't be making any claims that the hair oil makes a difference to the 'inner structure' of my hair because I have no clue about these stuff, but it has certainly make it look nicer on the outside. And the good news is that it's really cheap unlike most other hair oils, and comes in a glass bottle with a pump, which the other two oils that I've tried did not have. I definitely need to stock up!
