UAE Day 7+8: Ferrari World & Going Home

Here it is, the last post about my UAE spring break. I hope I haven't bore you too much with all my recent travel posts. I'll put up some new fashion/beauty posts very soon. :)

Our last day in Dubai, which was supposed to be another shopping/beach day, was actually not spent in Dubai. My father really wanted to go to the Ferrari World, so we decided to please him and spend the last day of our trip in Abu Dhabi.

P.S. The Ferrari World is the largest indoor theme park in the world, and all the attractions there are Ferrari themed. Obviously.
Dubai - on our way to Abu Dhabi.

Cheap gas!

Does it suit me? ;)

Day 8 marked the end of our trip. We had an early flight back home, so we had wake up and go to the airport before we even managed to properly open our eyes. I was really happy to be given a seat next to the window this time, though. Especially because I was able to see the World Islands from the air! The plane ride luckily went by quite quickly this time. The movie selection was way better than on the previous flight, so I didn't really have time to start getting bored. I watched the Vow, Crazy Stupid Love and the TV show called Sh*t My Dad Says. The only thing I didn't like on this flight was food. It's not that it wasn't tasty (the dessert was delicious), but it was so spicy that I couldn't even swallow it. :D

UAE Day 6: Beach & Shopping (HAUL)

Day 6 of my UAE vacation was definitely my favorite one. We spent the day at the Jumeirah Beach Park - I don't have any photos to show you because you're not allowed to take them there - and then went to my favorite shopping centre 'The Dubai Mall' in the afternoon. We stayed there until very late, when all the shops started to close, but I really wish I would have an additional day for shopping. Because I ran out of time to go to all the shops I had planned to, and because almost all the stuff from my to-buy list turned out to be sold out, I have to admit I was quite disappointed with my shopping experience by the end of the day. UNTIL my mother surprised me with the last two items because she felt sorry for me, of course. :)

By the way, thank god for my relative from Australia! She is now on the hunt for the three pairs of shoes I wanted to buy in Dubai, so if you happen to live in Melbourne and see a lady with curly hair running around the city with bags of shoes in one hand and a measuring tape in the other - that's her!

Now back to Dubai and my collective shopping haul. Here is what I had managed to snatch up...
A silk scarf from the market located in the old centre of Dubai.

Some Soap & Glory products found at Boots in Al Ain.
Beauty products from Topshop: Moving House nail polish, Brighton Rock lipstick & Barefoot nail polish.

Some cute nail files from Bath & Body Works.

MAC's Sheen Supreme Lipstick in Blossom Culture and Satin Taupe eyeshadow.
Clinique Chubby Sticks & my favorite Chanel foundation.
Tops from New Look.
Tops from Forever 21.

UAE Day 3: Dubai

Our third day in the UAE was spent in Dubai. We saw A LOT of things. We were pretty much jumping from one attraction to another all day long. I'll just let the photos (and the captions) speak for themselves this time. :)

Lots of bling bling.
