The Easiest Halloween Mani Ever
Sandra
Ever since I started this blog, I've been trying to come up with a little more creative and sometimes also 'scary' manicures for the Halloween season, but this year, I'm doing the exact opposite. Truth to be told, I haven't had much free time on my hands recently to play with nail art, and I've been prefering plain nails over crazy designs lately anyway, so I decided to keep this year's Halloween mani very simple. I think it still looks fun, though! I used NYX Girl's 'Fruity Punch' (review here) as a base , and L'Oreal's Confettis Top Coat to make the manicure more interesting. How do you like the combo? Are you doing any crazy Halloween manis this year or are you keeping it simple like me?
P.S. You can check out my Halloween nail art from the previous years here: Zombie Nails, Boo! Nails, Candy Corn Nails, Bloody Nails, Crackle Nails. Which design is your fave?

NOTD: Sweets Way Jelly Sandwich
Sandra
It took me a while, but I finally tried out the jelly sandwich technique. If you don't know what this is, it's basically putting a layer of glitter nail polish in between two layers of neutral sheer nail polish. In other words, you first put on one coat of sheer nail polish, then a coat of glittery nail polish, and on top of that another coat of sheer nail polish. For the sheer nail polish, I chose OPI's At First Sight, and for the glittery one the Nails Inc.'s Sweets Way. I think the manicure turned out really cute, and I love how the Sweets Way looks like in a jelly sandwich. I actually prefer it like that than on its own (see here). Have you ever sported jelly sandwich nails yourself? How do you like the look?

Ombre Nails Tutorial
Sandra
It seems like every year, as soon as the temperatures rise above 20°C, I'm all about ombre, and this year is no exception. Even though I was really sick last week and could barely get out of my bed, I had to dig out some bright nail polishes and ombre my nails! As I wasn't able to film a haul video as I was planning to, because I looked and sounded like I'm dying, I decided to film a nail tutorial instead and forced my sister to do the voiceover, muhaha. You can check out the tutorial below!
How do you like my ombre mani? Would you like to see more nail tutorials?

NOTD: Mint Confettis
Sandra
I have a very short post for you today, because I don't have much to say to be honest, haha. This is the mani I wore a few weeks ago. It includes my two favourite polishes right now - Essie's Mint Candy Apple and L'Oreal's Confettis top coat. I really like the look of this combination. I'll definitely wear it again! How do you like it?

NOTD: Spring Polka Dot Nails
Sandra
It is still very much winter where I live, but that doesn't stop me from wearing some cute spring colors on my nails. The season of pastel mint nail polish has officially started in my head, so you can expect lots of variations of mint nails on my blog during the next few months. This time, I spiced up Essie's Mint Candy Apple base with some dots using Avon's Apricot Mystery. How do you like the creation? It reminds me of Easter eggs, so it's perfect for the upcoming Easter holiday. By the way, you can check out my last year's adorable Easter nails here.

Halloween Candy Corn Nails
Sandra
As Halloween is coming up very soon, I decided to do some easy Halloween manicures. The one that you're seeing today is inspired by candy corn, the famous American candy that seems to be very popular around this time of the year. To create this look, you'll need to use the ombre sponge technique I've already blogged about before. You can see step-by-step tutorial here.
P.S. I've done some Halloween nail designs last year as well. The one that seemed to be really popular was the 'Bloody Nails' design. You can check out the post here in case you haven't seen it yet. :)
