Collection Cream Puff Review

Collection Cotton Candy Cream Puff Review with swatches

Today I'm here to review another lip product I bought back in January when I was in London. It's called Cream Puff Moisturizing Lip Cream and it's from a company called Collection, which by the way makes the best drugstore concealers. At least in my opinion. But today we're not talking about those. The star of today's show is Cream Puff in the shade 'Cotton Candy'.

Cream Puff is a creamy type of lip product that I've really grown to love during the past few weeks. It applies very evenly, feels velvety on your lips and dries completely matte. On the bottle, it says that it's moisturizing, which is a statement I can't really agree with, but I'm happy to say that it doesn't dry out your lips either. Just make sure that your lips are exfoliated before you apply it, because it does tend to accentuate dry patches.

As far as the pigmentation goes, I normally apply two layers, because I feel like two layers look better than one, but if you want the shade to look more subtle, one layer should do. The product stays on my lips for about two to three hours before I need to re-apply it and survives through drinknig. It literally sticks to your lips, so you don't have to worry about it sliding off at all. Oh, and it smells like vanilla! Just thought I would throw it in there, haha.

All in all, I think this product is an absolute bargain. It truly delivers, but costs only three pounds! I really wish I picked up 'Fairy Cake' as well. That shade would be perfect for spring!

My Nail Polish Collection

Guess who finally managed to film the nail polish collection video?! Yup, moi! The video turned out to be quite a bit longer than I had expected, so I suggest you to make yourself a cup of lemonade and grab a few snacks before clicking the play button. And don't forget to leave me some nail polish suggestions below.  Are there any shades or brands that I definitely need to check out (when I go to the US)?

P.S. In case you're wondering, I got my nail wheels HERE. You get 5 of them for just a bit over 1€!

Bourjois Rouge Edition 'Rouge Jet Set' Lipstick Review

Bourjois products have been pleasantly surprising me lately. My new favorite foundation is from Bourjois, and now I've also found the perefct red lipstick!

I don't know since when have these lipsticks been avaliable in other countries, but in Slovenia the Bourjois Rouge Edition lipstick collection had to be released not more than a month ago. Well, at least I haven't seen them anywhere before. To be honest, what persuaded me to take a look at them is their packaging. It looks really sleek, modern and I love how you can see the color of the lipstick at the bottom. It's also quite sturdy, so it doesn't look or feel cheap like most drugstore lipsticks usually do.

This collection of lipsticks is definitely one of the best ones I've seen so far. The selection of the shades is amazing! There are 18 of them and range from nudes, classic reds, soft flirty pinks and some really bold ones. They all seemed gorgeous to me, which can be confirmed by my sister. After swatching them and falling in love with their texture and pigmentatiton, I soon had about 5 of them in my hands. My sister thankfully detected the danger of me spending 50€ on lipsticks again, so she 'allowed me' to only pick one, haha. I eventually went with the 'Rouge Jet Set' in my lucky number 13. I've been looking for the perfect red lipstick for ages, and I think I have now finally found one. :)

As you can see, the lipstick is very pigmented. It has a soft, creamy texture (my favorite) and doesn't dry out your lips at all. The durability is very decent as well. It lasted about two hours on my lips before losing its sheen, but my lips remained stained for extra two hours. It's not the cheapest drugstore lipstick out there - it costs about 11€ in my country - but I think it's worth the money.

Has anyone else tried the Rouge Edition lipsticks? Do you love them as much as I do?
