Products I've Recently Used Up

Products I've Recently Used Up - Nars Sheer Glow, Batiste Dry Shampoo, Vichy Idealia, etc.

Every time I finish filming an empties video I breathe a huge sigh of relief, because that means I can finally throw away a huge bag of used up products that I've been piling up in the closet for months. Not only can it starts to feel like you're living in dumpster, but it can also lead to some very interesting, concerned conversations with non-YouTube-y people in your life in case they accidentally stumble upon the said pile. Been there, done that. When my mom discovered it in my room way back when, she staged an intervention and considered calling up the 'Hoarding: Buried Alive' team. True story. I think she got frightened I got my grandma's genes. Let's just say there's a reason why we say she has the so called 'hrčkov sindrom'. If you're not Slovenian, it translates into 'the hamster syndrome', but I don't think this idiom makes much sense in English... Basically, she's a bit of a hoarder. Not quite the TLC kind, but big enough. Ahh, I digressed! I just wanted to let you know that I did some quick but thorough reviews of the products I've recently used up, and you can hear all about them in the video below. I really don't know how I managed to turn one simple sentence into a whole, rather useless paragraph. Oh, well! Who's glad I'm back to blogging, haha?!

My Hair Care Routine

When I was in London now more than a month ago, I picked up some hair products that have since then completely changed the way I feel about my hair. Since I've started to color my hair, I've always had problems with dry ends and my hair feeling either straw like or oily. I've tried many hair masks in hopes of improving the condition of my hair, but I haven't noticed much difference. Thankfully, I can now say that I've finally found some amazing products that work really well for my hair, so I decided to film 'My Hair Care Routine' to show you my most loved hair products and give you quick reviews.

Batiste Dry Shampoo Review

Dry shampoos have never been on the list of my frequently used products. Not because I wouldn't need them, but because I haven't found one that would actually work for me. We don't have a huge selection of dry shampoos in my country, so in case of emergency, I've been using either baby powder or the Syoss Anti-Grease Dry Shampoo. The baby powder works pretty good even though it does make my hair look a bit grey, but the Syoss dry shampoo doesn't even manage to do its job. Yeah, it makes my hair look cleaner, but only for a few hours. Fail.

The Batiste Dry Shampoo, on the other hand, is a totally different story. I am not surprised that everyone's raving about it. It makes my hair look as though I've just washed them, it smells pleasantly, it doesn't change the color of my hair and even gives it some volume. My hair normally needs to be washed every other day, but with the help of this dry shampoo, I can go without washing it for about four or five days. Crazy, right? For those of you wondering, I don't think you can get it in Slovenia, but you can order it here on asos.com. The delivery is free, so the 400ml bottle will cost you a little less than 7€.
