MeMeMe is a brand I've heard about before, because a while ago the British bloggers were raving about their highlighters like crazy, but I haven't actually tried any of their products until now. This 'Sultry Eyes Trio' is my first MeMeMe product, but unfortunatelly, I wasn't as impressed with it as the British girls were with their highlighters. 

MeMeMe je znamka za katero sem slišala že velikokrat, saj so britanske blogerke nekaj časa nazaj bile  naravnost obsedene z njihovimi osvetljevalci za obraz, ampak do sedaj mi ni uspelo preizkusiti še nobenega njihovega proizvoda. MeMeMe 'Sultry Eyes Trio' senčk je tako moj prvi MeMeMe izdelek, vendar na žalost ne morem ravno reči, da sem bila nad njim tako navdušena kot so bile Britanke nad osvetljevalci. 

The packaging itself is mediocre. The eyeshadows seem protected and secured, but the clear plastic part is not the best. Mine glued off during transportation before I ever received the product, so it's a little bit annoying, but I can still close the product. Another thing that bothers me is that all of the eyeshadows are next to each other, so it can get very messy very quickly. Having said that, it is compact and therefore perfect for travelling!

Sama embalaža je sicer v redu, saj se lepo zapira, pa tudi senčke se zdijo dobro zaščitene pred padci, vendar me nekaj stvari vseeno moti. Prva je prozoren plastičen del, ki se je v mojem primeru kar odlepil od ostale embalaže še preden sem ga prijela v roke. Embalažo lahko drugače še vedno zapiram, vendar mi gre tale odlepljen del malo na živce. Druga stvar, ki mi ni čisto po godu pa je postavitev senčk. Ležijo namreč druga ob drugi, kar lahko pri uporabi povzroči, da se senčke med seboj 'zmešajo'. Majhnost embalaže pa je lahko seveda tudi prednost, saj je trio zelo primeren za kakšna potovanja, ko smo bolj na tesnem s prostorom v kozmetični torbici. 

And now to the eyeshadows. Let me tell you first that I am very picky when it comes to eyeshadows. I have tried a lot of high quality ones, so I really can't tell you that these are amazing in terms of quality. They are not very pigmented, the two shimmery shades feel kind of chalky, they are not long lasting, and they tend to fade away. They are easy to blend, but I find that the darkest matte shade blends into the lighter shimmery brown one, so they end up looking like one colour on your eyelids. A good eyeshadow primer (I was using Urban Decay's Primer Potion in the photo below) can solve a lot of these problems, but I still wouldn't go for this trio unless you're searching for some beginner eyeshadows that will give you a very soft and subtle everyday look. 

Zdaj pa še k senčkam. Naj vam najprej povem, da sem zelo izbirčna ko pride do senčil za veke, saj sem preizkusila že veliko kvalitetnih senčk. Tele MeMeMe senčke se meni osebno ne zdijo super. So bolj slabo pigmentirane, ta bleščičasti senčki sta malo 'kredasti', niso dolgoobstojne in tekom dneva zbledijo. Z lahkoto se sicer zabrišejo, ampak sem ugotovila, da pri zabrisovanju najtemnejša mat senčka kar izginja, tako da se na koncu na vekah ne vidi pretirane razlike med rjavima odtenkoma. Seveda pa se večino teh problemov lahko reši z dobro podlago za senčke, kar se lahko vidi na spodnji sliki, kjer sem uporabila Urban Decay Primer Potion. Še vseeno pa se mi zdi da je ta trio primeren samo za kakšne začetnike v ličenju, ki si želijo doseči rahel vsakdanji videz. V Sloveniji lahko trio kupite tukaj za €8,30. 

I'm officially insane. Why, you ask? Because I now apparently buy make-up products just because of their cute packaging. But who could say no to this adorable little face, right?! Speaking about the packaging, I almost couldn't open this cutie pie! I'd been trying to pull the cap off for almost an hour and it just didn't want to cooperate with me. I honestly started to think that it was glued to the rest of the product, but then my dad finally managed to take it off. 

Initially, I didn't really know what to expect from this Tony Moly Petite Bunny Gloss Bar. I haven't tried any Asian products before and I haven't read much reviews on them, so it was a bit of a risk getting it. But as it turned out, it's actually quite lovely. As expected, it is very lip balmy - sheer, moisturizing and a little bit glossy. It's one of those easy-to-work-with lip products I've been obsessing over lately. The only downside is its staying power. On my lips, it doesn't even last for an hour, but this is something that I find with every lip balm kind of product.
